Blast Studio was founded in 2018 by Paola Garnousset, Martin Detoeuf, and Pierre de Pingon with the vision of bringing nature and technology into dialogue to transform urban waste into innovative materials and architectural solutions.

Since its inception, the studio has developed a diverse portfolio of projects, from artworks and exhibitions to custom-designed pieces for interiors. Today, Blast Studio focuses on creating sustainable panels and furniture that seamlessly integrate into architectural and interior design projects, offering unique, waste-based materials that inspire and innovate.

The studio’s innovative approach has been recognized internationally: in 2020, Blast Studio was awarded the Prix d'Encouragement in Architecture by the French Académie des Beaux-Arts. In 2022, they received the New Talent Award at the Surface Design Show and were finalists for the Loewe Craft Prize. In 2023, House & Garden named Blast Studio one of its Rising Stars of Design.
